Team B.O.A.R.'s Sponsors

Pine Mountain sports was the one stop shopping for Team BOAR. Dan and the staff were awesome. They had everything we needed from biking parts and accessories to trekking gear to apparel. Team members brought five pairs of shoes each to PQ all from Pine Mountain Sports.  If you need anything outdoor related, go in and see the folks at Pine Mountain Sports.

In 2004, when Primal Quest sent out the kayaking certifications that were going to be required we knew we were in need of help. Although we have kayaked in virtually every adventure race, we lacked the skills necessary for survival if a kayak was to overturn in the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest. We turned to the pros at Alder Creek Kayak and Canoe. Geoff gave us instructions for survival, navigation and general paddling tips. When it came to the skills testing prior to the race, we had to dump both boats and do a self-rescue. We were well trained and passed with flying colors. In fact, we posted one of the quickest times of all the teams tested. Check out the Alder Creek stores in Bend, OR and Portland, OR for all your paddling needs.

Alpine Aire Foods was one of Team BARK’s largest supporters in last year’s Primal Quest. You can’t go ten days of busting your butt living on sugar. The inferno’s and peanut butter pouches were the biggest hit with the team.
