Welcome to Team B.O.A.R.'s official website.

As you race through the B.O.A.R.’s website, our links to other pages are called checkpoints and transition areas. Click on the flags on the map to navigate your way in the website. Checkpoints (CPs) are locations in adventure races that must be visited by the team. It is the means by which the race director controls the direction of the course. Transition areas (T/As) are where the team will change from one sport to the next. Visit all the CPs and TAs to fully learn about the B.O.A.R.s.

The first thing is to explain the name B.O.A.R. Team B.O.A.R was formed by two brothers weighing in over 200 lbs. After countless hours of punishing our bodies during training and racing, we still find ourselves saying "we feel like fat pigs". Well Team B.O.A.R. sounds much better than "Team Fat Pigs", plus the female teammates don’t like to be called fat!

Our philosophy is to race smart, experience the adventure with our teammates, have fun, never give up and go as fast as we can at “BOAR Speed Ahead”.

To be honest we’re probably not going to be the fastest team out there. If you want to see a site for a fast team, check out these guys at www.eliteadventureteam.com, but we are a team that loves adventure racing, has a good time competing and loves to introduce the sport to future B.O.A.R.s.

Team B.O.A.R. is based out of Central Oregon where the surrounding mountains, lakes and rivers give us the training playground needed to compete in adventure racing.

Team B.O.A.R. is very lucky to be supported by some awesome people. Please visit our sponsor’s page at T/A 1 and check out what they offer the sport of adventure racing, etc. Adventure racing is a very gear intensive sport and our sponsors contribute greatly to our team.
